LIBRARY RULES

• Show your identity card at the check point and put your signature in the Visitor’s Register.
• While entering the library please keep your personal books, Photocopy material, Files, Bags, Umbrella, Water bottles etc. at the Property Counter since these items are not allowed inside the Library.
• Smoking, eating, sleeping and talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the library.
• Strict silence, decorum and discipline must be maintained in the Library.
• Eatables are not allowed in the library.
• Members are requested to see the Library Notice Board for Notifications and Regulations.
• Use of cell-phones is also not allowed in the library. Cell-phones must be switch- Off or keep on Silence mode.
• Please do not leave your valuables e.g., Purse, Mobile Phones, Laptops etc. at the Property Counter or at any other place in the Library. Library Staff will not be held responsible for any loss/theft at property counter.
• Library Documents taken out of the shelves must be placed on their place or handover to the library staff on the Counters. Replacing the books on shelves is not encouraged as it may get misplaced and misplaced book is like a lost book.
• You are sincerely advised not to underline the matter, write, tear the pages ordamage the library documents.
• No library document can be taken out of the library without permission. Unauthorized removal of anything belonging to the library will be treated as theft and dealt accordingly.
• Issued books are to be return in time, these can't be re-issued.
• Books can be reserved at the circulation counter.
• You can borrow upto 3 books at a time for a period of 15 days. Return library books as soon as possible/and when your need is over or within 15 days.
• Anyone who violates the rules and regulations of the library would be liable to lose the privilege of library membership and may be debarred from availing the library facilities.

Fine: If the user fails to return the book by due date, he/she will be charged a Rs. 1/- Per Volume per day. The user who repeatedly fails to return the books on due date will lose the privilege of membership.

Library Membership Card: The Identity Card issued to the students from the College is also their Library Membership Card. The Books are issued to the users on the production of valid Identity Card.
